UseMuse is excited to announce the release of Kyrie Dunphy’s book “The Wolf in Sheep’s Avatar.” The book, geared to a younger audience (three- to seven-year-olds) is now available on Amazon.
“Younger and younger kids are getting online, and I wanted to write a cautionary tale so they will be safe on the internet,” noted Kyrie Dunphy, book author and founder/president of UseMuse.
The book tells the story of Lamby, a young sheep who goes online by himself despite his parents’ warnings about the dangers of the internet. Lamby befriends Supernicesheep11 online. Will Lamby be safe or fall prey to an internet predator? The 32-page, 483-word picture book answers this question and teaches young readers about internet safety in a memorable and relatable way.
“The Wolf in Sheep’s Avatar is important since most books about internet safety cater to older children. In my opinion, the younger audience – pre-K, kindergarten and first grade – has been ignored, and they are getting online unsupervised,” Dunphy said.
Parents of younger children can purchase The Wolf in Sheep’s Avatar, now available on Amazon in paperback and electronic/kindle versions in both English and Spanish.
