UCF’s Top-Ranked Professional MBA Is Coming to Lake Nona

March 7, 2022 by Kellie Wise

An expanding business community, thriving residential areas, and home to Orlando’s Medical City make Lake Nona the location of choice for UCF’s top-ranked, part-time professional MBA.

Ranked a top part-time MBA by U.S. News & World Report, the UCF’s PMBA offers the rigor and depth of a traditional MBA while providing an evening schedule, relevant content, and networking opportunities for working professionals. The UCF College of Business offers the 24-month PMBA each summer at UCF Downtown and each fall at a select UCF regional campus. For a limited enrollment starting in the fall of 2022, the UCF part-time PMBA will be offered in Lake Nona, providing a convenient location for professionals living and working in Southeast Orlando to pursue an accredited MBA without interrupting their career path.

Hands-On Learning

UCF’s PMBA faculty bring a combination of academics and industry experience to the classroom. Faculty share their professional expertise, provide insights on current business issues, and use applied teaching methods to maximize the student’s learning experience. Through a blend of lecture, case studies, discussion forums, team projects and presentations, students gain hands-on learning experience, work on real-world problems, and develop skills immediately applicable to their work.

Collaboration and Teamwork

The PMBA Lake Nona is offered in a cohort style with a limited class size with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration. Students from a variety of industry and educational backgrounds start and finish the program together, providing an invaluable professional networking group and life-long friendships.

The structure of the PMBA Lake Nona is designed to cater to the working professional. From inquiry to enrollment, and registration to regalia, the college’s Office of Graduate Programs provides exceptional personalized academic service and support so that students can make the best use of their time – focusing on their graduate education and professional development.
