Lake Nona Arts Debut a Smash Success!

June 4, 2026 by Stephanie Houde Leave a Comment

Lake Nona Arts made an unforgettable debut in musical theater with its first-ever Broadway revue production, Stage Struck, delivering two sold-out performances that showcased the remarkable talent, dedication and spirit of the local arts community.

The production brought together a talented community choir and orchestra for an evening that celebrated some of Broadway’s most beloved music. From the opening number to the final curtain call, Stage Struck captivated audiences with powerful vocals, polished musical performances and an infectious enthusiasm that filled the theater each night.

What stood out most was the seamless collaboration between performers and musicians. The live orchestra added richness and energy to every number, while the choir delivered performances filled with emotion, confidence and joy. The show featured a wide variety of Broadway favorites, offering something for theater lovers of all ages and creating an atmosphere that was both entertaining and deeply uplifting.

Behind the scenes, the hard work of directors, choreographers, musicians, technical crews and volunteers was evident in every detail. The production reflected not only artistic excellence but also the strong sense of community that Lake Nona Arts continues to foster through its programming.

The overwhelming response from audiences – including two completely sold out nights and enthusiastic standing ovations – demonstrated the growing appetite for live performing arts in the Lake Nona area. Stage Struck was more than just a musical revue; it was a celebration of creativity, collaboration and community connection through the arts.

Lake Nona Arts deserves tremendous praise for launching such an ambitious and successful production. If Stage Struck is any indication of what’s ahead, the future of community theater and performing arts in Lake Nona is exceptionally bright.
