The team at UCF Lake Nona Medical Center recently wore red on National Wear Red Day in support of and to raise awareness for American Heart Month in February. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men, women and people of most racial and ethnic groups in the United States. Considered a silent killer, it affects one in three women, and takes more lives than all cancers combined.
