On Dec. 1, Nonahood News was selected for the 2019 Best of Orlando Award in the category of Publishers by the Orlando Award program.

The Orlando Award program annually recognizes local businesses that achieve success in marketing and business in their local economies. The winners are chosen through various forms of analyzed information, including the impact the business has on the local community, according to a press release. Citizens can also nominate a business to be considered by the Orlando Award Program.
