Lake Nona, FL- August 2017
Tavistock Development Company has announced new plans for two speculative 155,000 SF, six-story, class-A, multi-tenant office building in the growing Lake Nona Town Center, part of more than one million square feet of planned speculative and shovel-ready office projects in it’s massive Orlando project, Lake Nona.
One of the new buildings will be located in the Lake Nona Towncenter, the other in the company’s 200-acre Infinity Park corporate park on John Young Parkway.
The Lake Nona location will reside at the southwest corner of Veteran’s Way and Lake Nona Boulevard and will be home to “25,000+ SF floor plates, upgraded design finishes and an exquisitely landscaped plaza with outdoor seating.” Tenants of the facility will have access to free parking in Lake Nona’s multi-level garage, infamous ‘Code Wall’, complete with colorful dichroic glass and lighting, and it’s attached six-story digital art monument ‘The Beacon’ that lights up with color and a variety of projections.
m+a architects with design architect Place Alliance have designed the project, while PCL Construction Services, Inc was selected as the General Contractor.
Tavistock plans to break ground on the project this fall, with completion in the fall of 2018.
Lake Nona continues to be one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in Florida and the United States, with over 800,000 SF of new office projects coming online across the Nonahood, which includes over 200,000 SF of additional office projects.
“We believe there is an opportunity to fill the void of office space in the Orlando market within two dynamic locations,” said Tavistock Development Senior Vice President Skipper Peek. “Both Lake Nona and Infinity Park share great regional access, excellent proximity to one of world’s best airports, a robust labor market, a great climate and a business-friendly state. In addition, Tavistock brings a rare combination of financial resources, experience and creativity, which have been instrumental in helping us win deals and bring several significant corporate projects to the Orlando market.”
