The Great Pumpkin Smash 2022

Green Your Halloween! Compost your pumpkin and donate your extra candy to Treats for Troops.

Can you smell the pumpkin spice in the air and see the spooky jack-o-lanterns on everybody’s front porch? Well before you know it those pumpkins will begin to look sad and need a place to go. Why trash a pumpkin when you can smash it!? We will have several methods for attendees to “smash” their pumpkins and then afterwards, we will turn the otherwise methane producing waste into a hearty and helpful compost. We will also be collecting leftover Halloween candy so we can send Treats for our Troops.
