The Mercury Collective and Takeover: This is a creative collaboration between various emerging and established artists from in and around the Orlando area. This installation serves as an universal invitation for all to experience the beautifully eclectic energy pulsating throughout greater Orlando Art community and beyond.

Gallery 29: Up In The Air – Love a bird’s eye view? Wish your secret power was flying? Up in the Air will showcase art of things you see when you look up into the space and beyond. Art can also feature wind, breeze, flying, floating, soaring, emptiness, planets … the sky’s the limit.
Magic Gallery: Keyed Up- a solo exhibition by Doug Powell
Star Gallery: Alive – This exhibition intends to gather artists along with their art creation inspired by the feelings of healing, faith, and hope. As an important part of this city, we all have the responsibility to send a message of love, enlightenment and unity to our community.
Young Artists Gallery: Aesthetics- an exhibition featuring work of young artists using their own personal aesthetic and medium of choice
Redefine Art Gallery: PERFECT STRANGERS- an exhibition combining the work of five artists who have never met in person but all share commonality through art style with their similar approach to the use of illustration, design, collage, print, and layering techniques. Participants: Mirov (Montreal, Canada), Burn353 (Springfield, Illinois), Peter Van Flores (Bay Area, California), Spearhead (Los Angeles, California), and MOST (Ventura, California)
Gallery: “O” Gallery features resident artists Vickie Wilson, Donna Dowless, Dlynn Roll, Roberto Gonzalez, Pamela Loudon, Bernie Martin, Jaime Parra, and Doug Powell.

Invasive Species features the artworks of ten artists including the Gallery Curator Patrick Greene. It is comprised mostly of installations. Join us for the opening reception on Thursday May 17 from 6-9pm. The last day of the show is Saturday June 22. Artists include: Jenn Allen, Adam Thaxton, Kira Sylvia, DeVan Jiminez, Kyle, Richard Munster, Hannah Miller, Dina Mack, Matt Duke & Pat Greene. Jim Ivy will also be performing a live soundtrack during the opening reception.

Another Year Passes: Orlando after the Pulse Nightclub Massacre. More than 150 photographs and 600 artifacts tell the story of how our community responded to a senseless act of violence with unity, kindness, and compassion. This year’s exhibition shows what has changed for Orlando in the past two years and focuses on the in-depth stories we have learned.

Chelsea Smith: Magical Realism… Etching Myths and Legends Artist Chelsea Smith grew up living between Casselberry Florida and staying summers in Nottingham England and Derry Northern Ireland. Connecting with her Irish and English heritage inspired her artwork and determination to work exclusively with etched copper plates using only renaissance era tools and techniques. On display in this solo show are pieces from Chelsea’s two ongoing series, Sacred Feminine and Celtic Mythology. The latter series explores the stories of the Irish epic Táin Bó Cúailnge and also Scottish, Welsh & Nordic animal symbology of ancient civilizations and folklores. Exhibition reception begins at 6:00 p.m. with an introduction by Orlando City Commissioner Patty Sheehan.

Orlando is an ever changing city. “Fresh Faces,” where Emerging Artists intersect with Established Artists. We want to meet you all. We are welcoming artists that have never shown at The Falcon to display their work. The Falcon values community and seeks an Orlando that is rich in culture and diversity.
