Lake Nona Launching Innovative Entertainment and Culinary District Using Repurposed Shipping Containers

May 23, 2018 by Rhys Lynn

Tavistock confirmed that the Lake Nona Town Center is getting a new addition: An outdoor district focused on culinary delights and entertainment. A statement made by Jessi Blakely with Tavistock offered few details but serves to ignite our imaginations:

We’re always looking for innovative ways to engage our community and add value for residents and visitors while continuing to make Lake Nona an unrivaled destination. While exploring various entertainment opportunities throughout the Lake Nona Town Center, we were inspired by different repurposed shipping container projects across the globe. Our vision is to build an open-air district that showcases our culinary innovation along with an outdoor entertainment venue and shops to create a space that’s unique not only to Lake Nona and Central Florida, but first-of-its kind on the East Coast. With an innovative project like this, there are still a lot of details to figure out. We look forward to sharing more information soon and bringing this one-of-a-kind amenity to life in Lake Nona.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated with details as they become available.
