Business Spotlight: The DRIPBaR

October 20, 2022 by Camille Ruiz Mangual

The DRIPBaR is a new national franchise that was recently opened in Lake Nona. At The DRIPBaR, everything is motivated by one fundamental focus: supporting the best health of their clients. Through advances in cellular and biological science, The DRIPBaR helps clients fight consequences of chronic illness, address effects of aging, and achieve a balanced wellness.

Laureate Park residents Hollie Gilbert and Chris Arangio brought The DRIPBaR to Lake Nona in August. Prior to becoming a franchise owner, Hollie worked in marketing in the hospitality industry and Chris worked in the technology industry. However, Hollie was furloughed due to COVID, so she began to explore business ownership opportunities. The passion she and Chris share for holistic health options began when Hollie was trying to conceive their kids, Landon and Ryder, when she was in her 40s. Hollie was introduced to an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility and Chinese herbs. As a result, she had two successful pregnancies – her first at 42 years of age and her second child just 3 weeks before her 45th birthday. That experience opened their minds to other holistic modalities, including IV vitamin therapy. In addition, Hollie and Chris have felt the devastating effects of chronic illness on their immediate family, losing Hollie’s mother to heart and autoimmune (Sjogren’s syndrome) disease, her father to heart and lung disease, her brother to autoimmune disease and COVID, and Chris’s mom to ovarian cancer. Having seen these effects, Hollie and Chris aimed to be proactive with their own health and bring that to Lake Nona through The DRIPBaR.

The DRIPBaR offers vitamin therapy through intravenous (IV) and intramuscular (IM) shots, including chelation therapy, which helps with the reduction of heavy metal toxicity. For those fighting cancer, The DRIPBaR offer protocols for cancer support like High Dose Vitamin C and ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid). The DRIPBaR offers Red Light Therapy (Photobiomodulation). Red Light speeds up cell growth, reduces inflammation and can have additional benefits such as helping with neurodegenerative diseases, macular degeneration, glaucoma, fertility in men, etc. They also offer a Halo Infrared Sauna, which offers traditional high heat infrared sauna or an option for low heat or new heat salt therapy. The benefits of salt are mainly to the respiratory system but also can be effective for skin disorders. The high heat is an effective treatment for inflammation and pain in the body. Some clients enjoy visiting the sauna to detoxify their bodies prior to their drip. Benefits of receiving services at The DRIPBaR include overall health, increased energy, muscle recovery, quality of sleep, decreases in inflammation, and improvements in gut health.

There are a few reasons why Lake Nona residents should choose The DRIPBaR for their needs.  First, at The DRIPBaR they follow the highest standards for sterility in the industry – mixing their protocols in a sterile pharmaceutical compounding hood. Their staff also consists only of highly experienced nurses working under the direction of their medical director. All vitamins are sourced from US pharmacies. To ensure that vitamins have maximum potency, they do not use any vitamin in their protocols after 28 days of opening regardless of what the manufacturer’s best use date is indicated as so that they can ensure the highest quality experience for clients. They also do not premix any vitamin protocols prior to client arrivals. Everything that is delivered to their clients is made fresh for them upon their arrival after their vitals have been assessed and they are cleared to receive treatment. Lastly, they emphasize cleanliness. All furnishings are covered in marine grade vinyl due to its antibacterial and anti-microbial properties.

The DRIPBaR sets itself apart from other health and wellness businesses through their primary focus on preventative health through IV nutrients, which supports cellular health. Consequences of unhealthy cells can take years before they manifest into recognizable diseases. In many cases, prior to disease, low-grade nonspecific symptoms can drag vitality down. By targeting cells for rejuvenation, those at The DRIPBaR believe the body’s organ and functional systems can be maintained and lead to a longer, healthier lifespan. Many people benefit from vitamin therapy.

All Lake Nona residents regardless of age are eligible for Red Light Therapy, Halotherapy, and Infrared Sauna services. Those over the age of 18 can receive all vitamin therapies. Residents interested in learning more about The DRIPBaR can visit their website at www.thedripbar.com/locations/orlando-lake-nona-fl/ or call/text them at 407-734-3540. Lake Nona residents are also encouraged to visit the location at 14152 Narcoossee Rd., Suite 330, Orlando 32832. They are open 7 days a week. Hollie and Chris are also area developers for the franchise and as such can assist those who may be interested in owning a DRIPBaR. Hollie can be reached at hollie.gilbert@thedripbar.com.
