“Hey, little dog, want a treat?”
Nara is the first in line when it comes to treats, and her small size isn’t of any importance. Everyone wants to hug Nara, the one-year-old Shiba Inu hailing from Merritt Island. Her owners, Nic and Jenna, always wanted a dog, but their airline jobs made that difficult. Things changed after COVID-19, and that allowed Nic and Jenna the freedom to nurture a dog. This was indeed a positive outcome of the pandemic for them.
Nara runs with the “big boys” in the Nonahood! She is spunky, fast, and never intimidated. In fact, she often jumps on the HUGE pooches just so they know she’s there! Nara loves walks, swimming, meeting new pooch pals, chasing lizards, and having Puppuccinos.
As tough as she can be, Nara is also a little princess. She is transported to the dog park in her own screened-in chariot. Nic and Jenna ride their bikes, trailing Nara’s chariot behind them. A flag sticks up from her chariot so cars will know it is Nara, of course.
Once they enter the park area, there’s no stopping her! Nara is the type of dog everyone wants to hold and cuddle, but she will not hear of it. Nara is independent and confident along with being adorable and sweet. Don’t try to catch Nara – it will never happen!
