Best Friends in the Nonahood: Checking in With Our 2021 Pooches

January 17, 2022 by Patricia Reber

After several months of writing about the pooches of the Bark Park in the Nonahood, you might like to know how they spent their holidays.

Everyone will of course remember the ever-handsome DRACO. He is still sleeping on the sofa only when his blanket is placed on it appropriately. Draco is seen here posing in front of his Christmas tree in December. Glad the family got to enjoy the tree as well!

MEATBALL, the adorable bulldog, celebrated Hanukkah with his family. He dressed up for the occasion as you can see. Who couldn’t love that face!? And, the smiles on Reed, Roslyn and Dean are priceless.

Remember the rescue of MILA and how she clung to her stuffed dinosaur for months? Well, now she has a new friend she’s posing with in front of the Christmas tree. Good job, Mila!

As you can see, CHARLIE, who moved to Baltimore with her family, including Steven and Johnny, the family cats, wishes everyone a happy New Year! She made new friends but always remembers her old friends!

KONA, the ever-beautiful Boxer, poses by the tree in her new pink collar. Great look, Kona!

ACE and LEO shared their holiday outfits with the entire Baxter family. Gotta love this!

I published the story of SERGIO in The Bark. Sergio belongs to a friend of mine or rather my friend belongs to Sergio. Sergio is a little Chihuahua who has a mind of his own. Here, he poses inside the wreath, checking out the tiny lights. Mini lights are right on target for his size.

Looking forward to a brand new year by celebrating the old “best friends” and welcoming in the new ones!

Happy New Year 2022!
