Beep Announces Newly Appointed Chief Executive Officer

April 23, 2019 by Kyle Hamm

Beep, an autonomous mobility solutions company local to Lake Nona, has announced their new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Joe Moye, an accomplished technology executive, has been appointed the role of Chief Executive Officer for Beep. Moye has more than 25 years of experience in both the private and public sectors.

Moye was the General Manager for Virtustream, a leading software company that was acquired by Dell. Before that, he was the President of Blackbaud’s Enterprise Software Group. Previous to that, Moye was the CEO for Capgemini’s U.S. Public Sector Company, overseeing multiple programs for the Department of Agriculture, Defense, Transportation and Homeland Security.

“Beep is uniquely positioned to deliver on the promise of next-generation autonomous mobility technologies – from driverless vehicles to shared mobility solutions, and much more,” said Moye. “I am thrilled to lead the company during this pivotal hyper-paced and dynamic time in the industry and look forward to providing Beep customers with safe, intelligent and green mobility solutions that can be deployed as a fleet or as part of a successful multi-modal strategy.”

Recently named the exclusive dealer and preferred partner by NAVYA, Beep’s solutions are established by the NAVYA Autonom Shuttle. This autonomous shuttle can hold up to 15 people and is designed to improve productivity and reduce the congestion on urban central roads. All of the autonomous shuttles will be monitored by Beep’s state of the art operations in Lake Nona. Beep is also collaborating with the innovative community of Lake Nona to bring the very first autonomous vehicles to Central Florida. Beep’s shuttle service is expected to begin this spring.

“Our dedication to technology and innovation combined with the current momentum in the market, gives Beep the opportunity to set the standard for autonomous shared mobility platforms,” Kevin Reid, co-founder and member of Beep’s board of directors added. “We are very pleased to have Joe on board and look forward to leveraging his expertise to scale the business and create value for our stakeholders.”
