AdventHealth has partnered with the up-and-coming Lake Nona retirement community Del Webb Sunbridge to serve as the exclusive wellness ambassadors.
These AdventHealth wellness ambassadors will serve as guides to residents to help them navigate the healthcare system and offer fitness training and wellness classes as well as spa services exclusively for the community.
“We’re thrilled to be providing the kinds of health and wellness benefits that will delight our residents, and this partnership fits well with the other resort-style amenities being offered,” said Clint Ball, North Florida division president of PulteGroup, Del Webb’s parent company.
With the COVID-19 pandemic impacting the lives of everyone, it was those who were older who suffered the most severe consequences. Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a 65-and-up standard to prioritize vaccinating the older population. As a result, seniors are able to visit other fully-vaccinated seniors.
Many residents of Del Webb Sunbridge have already had the opportunity to attend fitness classes taught by AdventHealth Wellness Center Celebration’s team – both outdoors and virtually.
“We’re committed to providing an exceptional healthcare experience through personal, human connections in our community,” said Jeff Villanueva, CEO of AdventHealth’s East Orange market. “We’re excited to partner with Del Webb to bring care closer to home and be that personal health guide for more people in this growing region.”
AdventHealth will have a wellness ambassador to the Del Webb Sunbridge community later this year through this first-of-its-kind health center partnership with the retirement community in Central Florida.
