The Lake Nona Pixon has announced the development of three new fitness studios that are scheduled to open at the end of 2019.
The new studios, Neighborhood Barre, Rukus Cycling, and Club Pilates, will operate on the ground-level retail space of the Pixon, a 200-unit, upscale apartment community across the street from Lake Nona Town Center.
This will be the first Florida location for Neighborhood Barre, which combines aspects of weight training, pilates and dance conditioning with low-impact movement.
This location will be owned by Lake Nona resident Elizabeth Diaz, who is also the Director of Business Operations for the U.S. Tennis Association Player Development.
“Neighborhood Barre is the perfect addition to Central Florida’s diverse range of fitness options,” Diaz said. “We’re in a great location in Lake Nona and happy to be part of a community that makes wellbeing a priority.”
Rukus Cycling will open with 44 stationary bikes and will feature both live classes and an “on-demand” room for classes over video. Club Pilates will open its sixth Central Florida location at the Pixon with 12 stations with reformers.
All three fitness studios will be available to the public as well as Pixon residents. They will be joined at the end of the year in the Pixon by Foxtail Coffee and Island Fin Poke Co.
