NorthLake Park recently hosted a Fine Arts Night and Pasta Dinner. The entire school population created a themed work of art for sale to benefit the PTA. This year, NorthLake Park participated in the Read-A-Thon fundraiser. This is a fundraiser that was sponsored by PTA and students focused on reading. Students commit to completing 10 reading sessions, ranging from 10-30 minutes a day for 10 days. They can choose any book they want to read. Local Second Grader Wins Baton Twirling National Title
Brooke Gelbwaks, age 7, daughter of Jeff and Kiff Gelbwaks, recently competed in the American Youth on Parade NBTA, National and World Baton Twirling competition at Notre Dame University in South Bend, Ind.
