March for Our Lives is a youth-led movement born in 2018 after the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. The movement is dedicated to helping eliminate the epidemic of gun violence and ensure that this nation is a safe, compassionate place for all.

Gun violence in America is out of control. In 2021 alone, there were approximately 44,851 gun violence deaths. However, March for Our Lives Orlando is now organizing an event, together with other nationwide rallies, to march and demand that this generation be the one to end gun violence.

The March for Our Lives Orlando rally will take place on June 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Orlando City Hall. The rally will feature live music, speakers and booths and will end with the march. This rally will happen simultaneously with over 300 marches in locations such as Miami, St. Petersburg, Leesburg and Parkland as well as an event in Washington, D.C., in the wake of the school shooting at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas.

RSVP forms and details about local marches can be found through the March for Our Lives website. Details about the March for Our Lives Orlando event can be found through their Facebook page. Text MARCH to 954-954 to learn more.
