When in Rome, Live Like the Romans (or Lions) Do!

August 12, 2016 by David Grimm

Back to school header

Remember when you were a teenager and spring break came along? We had time off from school to go to the beach, hang out with friends and do our best to not get in trouble. If we were really lucky, our parents may have a trip planned for us. Something we could bring a friend on and come back to school with some good stories.

Lake Nona Lions Rome 1

Over the last 10 years, my buddy and I have used these breaks from school to chaperone trips for students, their friends and even some of their families, trips that would provide some amazing experiences while also learning something along the way. Our trips aren’t the usual trips to a beach or to the mountains but instead trips abroad. Over this last decade, we have taken trips to London, Madrid, Munich, Rome, Barcelona, Venice, Paris and more. We have used these experiences to break through the four walls of the classroom and teach these young adults about the world outside of central Florida.

Lake Nona Lions Rome 2

In the spring of 2017, we are at it again, taking a group of young adults to London, Paris, Rome and Florence over a 10-day trip with the goal of having one heck of a fun Spring Break but also learning a thing or two along the way.

If your student or your entire family is interested in joining us, you can visit our tour site at www.eftours.com/1753957SW.

We also have a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Lions-Excursions-515495271844778/ where you can see pictures and stories from our past trips, as well as information for this spring.  Just think, you, too, could live like the Romans (for 10 days, anyways).
