Lake Nona Arts Community Choir and Community Band brought Broadway to life in a vibrant and heartfelt performance on May 18. This was their first concert at Lake Nona High School. Themed “An Evening of Broadway,” the concert featured classic show tunes from beloved musicals such as Les Misérables, Wicked, and Dear Evan Hansen. From powerful ballads to upbeat ensemble numbers, the program showcased soloists, duets and full choral pieces, all backed by the live band. Local performers, both seasoned and new, captivated the audience with powerful vocals and spirited instrumental arrangements.
The choir will start the fall season in August, and the band will kick off rehearsals in September for the fall concert. Links are available for registration now.
The choir will also be putting together an audition for Disney’s Candlelight Processional at EPCOT this summer. If you are interested in this separate choir event, please reach out to us at the email below.
