Local Central Florida favorites Foxtail Coffee Company and Island Fin Poke Company will be joining an already impressive list of business making their way to Lake Nona in 2019.
Both businesses will be located inside of the Pixon Apartments, Tavistock’s latest multifamily development. Foxtail Coffee and Island Fin Poke will occupy 1,300 and 1,700 square feet, respectively, within the 32,500 square feet of mixed-use commercial space on the ground floor of Pixon, which is set to be completed by 2018.
Pixon’s location will put both of these businesses in a perfect location for local Lake Nona foot traffic. Just steps from the rapidly developing Lake Nona Town Center, Pixon’s ground floor is set to be another prime commercial real estate location for those shopping and dining in the Nonahood.
Pixon is an urban-inspired, 201-unit modern flat community featuring an impressive list of innovative community conveniences including a rideshare program featuring Tesla Model 3s, a concierge delivery system, and the Orlando market’s first micro apartment units.

Having been a longtime favorite of many in the Central Florida area, with other locations in Downtown Orlando and Winter Park. The store offers a wide variety of specialty coffee beverages and foods, including their so-called “world famous cold brew” and fresh coffee beans sold by the pound.
Island Fin Poke Co. creates some of the freshest and most flavorful island-style bowls infused with local, sustainable and seasonal ingredients – pole-to-bowl, farm-to-fork naturally great food. Poke is a raw fish salad served as an appetizer in Hawaiian cuisine, and sometimes as a main course. Traditional forms are aku and he’e.
The Lake Nona Pixon location marks the brand’s third restaurant opening.
Lake Nona’s commercial real estate lineup continues to expand, as more business continue to flood into the area. More developments in the area are scheduled for the coming year.
