Ashes To Go (7 am) and Ash Wednesday Service (7 pm)

On Wednesday, March 1, you are invited to join Spring of Life United Methodist Church to begin the Christian season of Lent. Stop by our parking lot for “Ashes To Go” between 7 am and 9:30 am – Pastor Josh will be available to pray with you and share the ashes.
You are also invited to join us at 7 pm for our Ash Wednesday worship service. Nursery will be provided for our worship service.
In the Christian tradition, Ash Wednesday marks the start of the holy season of Lent, a time for reflection and repentance in preparation for the celebration of Easter. For centuries, Christians have received a cross of ashes on the face at the beginning of that season as a reminder of mortal failings and an invitation to receive God’s forgiveness.
