Enjoy children’s activities, animal encounters on Saturday, April 8 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. There will be an egg hunt at 11 a.m.

 

Spring Fest Easter 2017

SpringFest at Spring of Life UMC

11101 Moss Park Road, Orlando, FL 32832

Springfest will take place on Sunday, April 9 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. and will have games, crafts, and family fun. The egg hunt will take place at 4 p.m.

 

Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt

9055 Northlake Parkway, Orlando, FL 32832

On Monday, April 10 from 4:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., the Monday Market at Lake Nona YMCA provides a new twist on the Easter egg hunt by organizing a scavenger hunt during the market. It will be fun for all ages with prizes! There will also be food trucks, a farmer’s market and vendors.

 

Seder Meal Easter 2017

Christian Seder Meal at Journey of Life Lutheran Church

At this event on April 13 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., you will experience the historical setting of the Lord’s Supper and a delicious meal prepared by a professional chef. Tickets will be in the $8-$12 range and need to be purchased before the dinner. The price will be set to cover the cost of the event. However, if the cost is an obstacle, please contact Pastor John. The church doesn’t allow cost get in the way of participation.

Easter Weekend

Good Friday Service at Journey of Life Lutheran Church

Journey of Life Lutheran Church will be holding a Good Friday service on Friday, April 14 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  The entire family is welcome. However, it is a quiet and contemplative service, so members are asked to determine if it is appropriate for their children.  The service will be held in a home of one of our members in the Conway area (even though we are a Lake Nona church). Directions, etc., will be emailed to those who RSVP on their Good Friday web page (www.journeyoflife.org/goodfriday).

 

Lucky 7th “Pig Run of Lake Nona”

9055 Northlake Parkway, Orlando, FL 32832

While not specifically an Easter-related event, it is one of the premier Nonahood events of the year. The “PIG RUN” is a family-friendly, non-timed 5K that anyone can participate in. But this 5K will be the most delicious one you have ever done! At the halfway point of the run you have the chance to enter of famous “PIG PEN” to devour some Dunkin’ Donuts and then attempt to finish the run!

If you haven’t signed up, feel free to bring your family and friends to the post-race party featuring a free kids’ run, dunk tank and more!

Rethink Church Easter 2017

Easter and Eggstravaganza at ReThink Life Church

Performing Arts Center at Lake Nona High School

Celebrate Easter with ReThink Life Church on Sunday, April 16 at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Then stay for the Eggstravaganza immediately following the 11 a.m. service. This Easter egg hunt will feature 5,000 eggs!

Lake Nona Easter & Egg Hunt at Nona Church

Celebrate Easter with Nona Church and the Lake Nona YMCA. They will be hosting a family-friendly gathering at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the YMCA gym. Directly after both services, families will head outside to the soccer field for an incredible Easter egg hunt.

The egg hunt is for children from PreK through 5th grade. Don’t forget to bring your basket. RSVP via Facebook.

 

Easter Service with Free Brunch & Easter Egg Hunt

The Journey of Life Lutheran Church invites you and your family join them on Easter Sunday for a special celebration. The Easter service begins at 10:00 a.m. In addition to great live music and an encouraging message, there will be an Easter egg hunt and a free buffet brunch after the service. They are celebrating Easter with a brunch on Saturday, April 15 and Easter Sunday, April 16 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. both days. During brunch service on Easter Sunday, Canvas will be hosting a kid-friendly egg hunt, and the Easter Bunny will be visiting each table from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.! Chroma invites guests to celebrate Easter with culinary classics and holiday favorites in Lake Nona, with specials including Chuletas Can Can with roasted crispy pork, charred orange, chimichurri rojo and micro cilantro, and Lamb Porterhouse with mint chimichurri, caramelized carrots and micro celery. Easter Brunch at Hemisphere Restaurant

9300 Jeff Fuqua Blvd, Orlando, FL 32827

Celebrate Easter with Hemisphere Restaurant’s annual Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 16 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The culinary team has put together a brunch with five different stations that include egg creations, salad, cheese and seafood selections, a carving station, and desserts.
