On Thursday, Jan. 16, School Board Member Johanna Lopez, as well as her fellow District 2 staff, will hold a community meeting discussing the new relief elementary school project taking place in Lake Nona. The meeting will be held at Laureate Park ES Media Center from 6-7 p.m. for all those interested in attending.

This school project is referred to as Site 43-E-SE-2, signifying in order the site number, school type, learning community, and board member district. It is currently in the design phase at 30%. The location of the new elementary school will be in the north area of Lake Nona, and the planned opening date of the school is scheduled for August 2021.
