BREAKING: Stay-At-Home Order Issued for Orange County

On Tuesday, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings issued all Orange County residents to stay at home. This order will take effect on Thursday, March 26 at 11 p.m. and remain active for two weeks, concluding on April 9 at 11 p.m., unless otherwise stated.

The stay-at-home order “excludes any essential business or entity providing essential services such as health care, food service, law enforcement and similar critical services,” according to a news release.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis stated that he’s not currently at the point to issue a statewide stay-at-home order.

With the mandate in place, officials have confirmed that residents can continue to leave their homes for essentials, like groceries and medicine. Picking up takeout food has also been cleared. Refer to the images at the beginning and end of this article for more information.
