Freeberg Foundation Donates to Fisher House Orlando
The Fisher House received a $300,000 grant from the Don & Lorraine Freeberg Foundation on July 24. This is now the largest check to be presented to the Orlando VA Medical Center’s Fisher House. USTA National Campus Hosts 101st American Tennis Association National Championships
The USTA National Campus hosted the 101st American Tennis Association’s (ATA) National Championships from July 29 through Aug. 4. Orlando VA Medical Center Hosts 38th NVWG Handcycling
On July 31, the Orlando VA Medical Center hosted handcycling for the 38th National Veterans Wheelchair Games. The event began at 7:30 a.m as 73 veterans raced around a 10K course constructed around the VA. Participants ranged from first-timers to seasoned athletes.
