Thus\, the most important “action” of your participation is the toy you will need to deliver on registration day in order to participate in this ride. That’s right\, a new toy. It is after all a toy collection ride. \nOne thing is clear though\, the toy you bring is of your choosing; we do not ask for a specific toy. When you go out to buy this toy\, there will be one that catches your attention and touches your heart. That’s the toy you will bring to register on ride day. \nBut\, the toy is just the pretext. This project consist of three (3) phases. Here’s the breakdown: \n– Riding with Santa: Massive toy collection effort done thru the cycling event. Here is where the party begins since not only do we ride\, but we also come back to our starting point to enjoy typical puertorican food\, music and more…\n– Santa’s Workshop: Here we segregate the toys that were donated and assign them to the communities and/or families that we will bring these toys to.\n– Act of Random Kindness:This is where the magic happens\, on Xmas day from 9:30am to 10:30am\, we go to the communities selected to deliver these toys. Whether it’s a big community gathering or what we call the “door to door” impact\, we do this within the mentioned time frame. But\, we don’t only deliver a toy\, we also deliver a message to that child. And it is simple: “We don’t ask for anything in return\, all we do ask is that if you feel a strong sense to help someone\, you do so as we are doing with you”. \n****If you would like to take part of any of these phases other than the cycling event\, please communicate via email at: thearkfoundationpr@gmail.com*** \nAs a token of appreciation for your support\, you will receive a commemorative medal signifying your event completion. Lake Nona Holiday Festival DESCRIPTION:Grab your calendar and make plans to join us for Lake Nona’s Holiday Festival through January 6. \nHoliday Movie Night:\n– Friday\, Dec. 28: “Frozen” \nSanta Claus Meet & Greet:\n– Friday\, Dec. 28: 5-9 PM \nLake Nona’s inaugural holiday festival will be filled with festive events for the whole family – including a skating rink\, live entertainment\, occasional snow falls\, festive food and drink options\, classic holiday movies\, jolly appearances from Santa Claus and a mailbox for letters to the North Pole. \nThe festive fun doesn’t stop there. Live performances from holiday carolers\, classic mulled wine\, roasted chestnuts\, and occasional pine-scented snow flurries will add to the fully decked-out holiday experience. \nPlan to join us for themed weekend nights with special programming that will bring the movies to life with unique experiences based on each week’s featured movie.
