DESCRIPTION:Join our Diversity Committee!\nMISSION\nThe Diversity Committee of the Lake Nona Regional Chamber believes that diversity and inclusiveness of its members is an essential element to its ability to accomplish its purpose. Diversity embodies the differences that make the Chamber?s members and their representatives unique\, including\, but not limited to people of different races\, ethnicities\, cultures\, sexual orientations\, genders\, religions\, ages and physical abilities. Likewise\, diversity includes people of diverse opinions\, perspectives\, lifestyles\, ideas and thoughts. \nThe Chamber values the differences in perspectives and varied experiences that are part of a diverse membership.  An ensured regional influence by accelerating and sustaining a diverse talent base and advancing inclusion in the Chamber and the region. To ensure that Lake Nona Regional Chamber is known around the world for being open and engaging as it relates to diversity and advocates diversity in contracting. \nGOAL\nLNRC will exemplify inclusion through people\, programs\, practices\, policy\, and partnerships. \nLNRC Diversity Committee will support Government and Private Entities in Lake Nona with the desire to contract with diverse businesses.  We will advocate on behalf of\, devise training and develop the pool of SMVWOBs interested in engaging the Entities in need of increasing their use of SMVWOBs\, thereby increasing members for the Chamber. \nLNRC Diversity Committee makes information and resources available to ensure that Diverse Vendors have the necessary tools and information to win contracts!  LNRC Diversity Committee uses its Members to go beyond the norm in diverse contracting and will provide the information and services necessary to create Contracting Opportunities. \nLNRC Diversity Committee assist communities with their desire to include diverse vendors\, expand economic empowerment and increase awareness of pursuing a better life by becoming a government and private entity contractor. \nLNRC Diversity Committee allows Government and Private Entities to empower our communities in need of strategies and programs to support diverse vendors and to create a legacy for future generations to follow.
