DESCRIPTION:Fall is finally here and what better way to celebrate its arrival than a good old fashioned Town Harvest!\nJoin us in the Lake Nona Town Center on October 2nd for a fan favorite event.\nThis year’s event will feature a pie making contest where you can test your baking skills and really “crust” the competition\, and become a prized blue ribbon winner!\nSign up here: https://forms.gle/XFwDd6CePRSod7JY9\nYou’ll be able to share your harvest enjoyment as oversized tractors\, hay bales\, and pumpkins create the perfect cozy photo op.\nYou’ll also be able to snag the perfect pumpkin for your front porch\, and a hand full of flowers from our wonderful floral and farmer vendors!\nToss down a blanket or pull up a chair to listen to The John Sparling Band in a magical concert under the stars.\nBring out the whole family to enjoy a festive night filled with autumn delights!\nPie Contest Rules:\n1. Contest is open to adults and families. Amateur or home bakers only.\n2. Professional bakers cannot compete. A professional is defined as someone who works for a bakery\, works for\, or owns a catering company\, or someone who sells pies.\n3. Each pie entered must have an entry form. Pies must be dropped off at the Chroma tent in Town Center from 5 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday\, October 2nd. Prizes will be announced around 6:30 p.m. -6:45p.m. on the stage.\n4. Pies must be home made from scratch. Bakers may not use store bought crust or pie filling.\n5. Contestants may enter only one pie.\n6. For safety reasons\, NO PIES REQUIRING REFRIGERATION WILL BE ADMITTED [e.g. No cream pies\, ice cream pies\, quiches\, custard pies\, etc.]\n7. Each pie submitted must include a recipe with the list of ingredients.\n8. If you want your pie pan back\, come to reclaim it at the tent after the pies are eaten.\nJudging:\n1. Judges will use the scoring guide shown.\n2. Judges will not know the identity of the pie bakers.\n3. Judging will begin at 6:00p.m. with prizes announced around 6:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.\n4. Judges will independently assign each pie a score without consultation.\n5. In the case of a tie\, judges will judge those pies again.\n6.
