SUMMARY:Hope Scholars' 4-Person Golf Scramble Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:May 1\, 2021 at Eagle Creek Golf Club. This one of many activities Hope Presbyterian Church at Lake Nona is doing to build a scholarship fund for students continuing their education. Last year’s scramble resulted in over $4\,000 and we would like to do better this year. Details are on the event website. – www.dixongives.com/hopescholars \n  \nUpdate you on the “Hope Scholars Golf 4-Person Golf Scramble Fundraiser” and Silent Auction that has helped Hope Presbyterian Church at Lake Nona to provide scholarships to students continuing their education. \nBased on past success\, the 3rd Annual “Hope Scholars’ 4-Person Golf Scramble Fundraiser\, May 14\, 2022\, at Eagle Creek Golf Club is on the calendar for next year. \nThis year we had over 80 people participating and over 40 individual companies involved. Over $6.800 was raised for scholarships. \nOur goal is to make next year’s event better than this year’s event. To help make that happen\, I’d like to ask for you to spread the word with friends\, associates\, casual acquaintances\, employers\, and anyone else I might have forgotten to mention! Word of mouth is a powerful tool and I’d like to request you put it to work. \nI currently have a committee helping me that include Larry Plew for player onboarding and website management; Phyllis Kalil for donations\, silent auction\, and lunch; and Dixie Gibbons for logistics\, volunteers and keeping us on budget. Keep their names in mind going forward.
