DESCRIPTION:ELEVATE ORLANDO TO HOST “GENERATIONS FOR JUSTICE” \nVIRTUAL LISTENING FORUM WITH LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT \nUrban Youth and Police Officials Discuss Social Change \n  \nWHAT:                     ELEVATE Orlando is hosting a virtual “Generations for \nJustice” listening forum to discuss the critical topic of social \nchange on Thursday. \nThe event\, which is the second in an ongoing series\, will \nfocus on the issues of community policing and racial equality \nin the justice system. The discussion will feature ELEVATE \nOrlando students and mentors\, as well as Judge Bob \nLeBlanc and representatives from Orlando Police \nDepartment and Orange County Sheriff’s Office. \nInterested participants can register for the free virtual event \nat https://www.eventbrite.com/e/110179598144. \n  \nELEVATE Orlando is a nonprofit organization that uses a \nholistic approach to mentoring and guiding Orlando’s urban \nyouth with the goal of preparing students for the future. The \nlistening forum series was created in direct response to the \nnonprofit’s supporters seeking ways to become more active \nin the Black Lives Matter movement.
